With its single drawer and detail-rich construction the Roke side table comes in light colored white ash, richly dark walnut, or inky black burnt ash. The wood for the drawers and the legs can be specified separately, allowing you to either create a unified look for the piece or to set up a dynamic contrast. It’s built with exposed joinery that has been carefully designed for beauty and strength.
Like a statue of a lion guarding the door to a museum the Roke Side Table is designed around creating a sense of presence that is regal and interesting but never overbearing. It is full of playfulness and joy and always adds grace to a room while remaining a very useful table.
Each piece is built to order one at a time by master craftspeople in our shop in Albuquerque, NM, and assembled to respect the character of the individual pieces of wood. We use a durable hand rubbed oil-wax finish that’s long lasting, easy to repair, and brings out the wood’s natural beauty.
The Roke Side Table ships flat packed and some simple assembly is required, instructions and hardware are included.
